SOCRATIC consortium, represented by SINTEF , participated in Sharelab, an event organized by Nesta and held on the 1st of November in London. The event gather more than 200 policymakers, researchers and innovators, including the Deputy Mayor of Paris, London and mayor of Bologna. Thomas Vilarinho from SINTEF attended the event and had the chance to mingle with other attendants, hear their experience from other digital social platforms and present them the work done in SOCRATIC. Many were interested in trying the platform once the Early pPrototype of Socratic Platform is released.
ShareLab showcased initiatives which are already delivering social and environmental impact through collaborative platforms. ShareLab looked at areas ranging from finance to healthcare, from education and skills to knowledge and the commons, and from future technology to the role of existing mainstream collaborative platforms.
