Over the last years we’ve seen an impressive growth in projects and organisations using digital technologies such as open hardware, open data and crowdsourcing to tackle social challenges, with inspiring examples of scale and partnerships with public services.
On May 16th, Dozens of organizations, practitioners and Policy Makers involved in the Digital Social Innovation ecosystem in Europe will be sharing experiences in London to explore some of the big issues in DSI at the moment and what are the main challenges to crate social impact.
One of the aims of the EU-Funded SOCRATIC project is to stablish alliances and synergies to promote Digital Social Innovation accros Europe, and that is why have a close collaboration with Nesta’s Program DSI4EU. DSI4EU has been studying this growth and used the digitalsocial.eu site to map the organisations and projects working on digital social innovation in Europe. Socratic will be represented by coordination Team Cibervoluntarios Foundation
“Whats next for Digital Social Innovation” event is specifically designed for policy makers, funders and practitioners to share how we can make the most of the opportunities in digital social innovation through new approaches to funding, policy and partnerships with public services.
